REMO offers different cuts:
- Flat Cut (outside seam): The traditional cut with a visible seam on the outside. It offers a large gripping surface and sits rather loosely on the fingers.
- Negative Cut (inner seam): Here the adhesive foam is sewn on the inside, meaning the seam has no direct contact with the ball. This ensures a tighter fit and a very good feel for the ball, but with a smaller catching surface.
- Rollfinger: In this model, the adhesive foam is rolled directly around the fingers so that there are no seams on the gripping surface. This combines a seamless gripping surface with a good fit.
The Finger Protection System (FPS) from REMO includes four integrated finger protectors per glove, which protect the fingers from overstretching and injuries from hard shots. In some models, these protectors are removable, so you can decide whether you want to use the additional protection as needed.
To maximize the durability and grip of your REMO goalkeeper gloves, follow these care instructions:
- Before first use: Wash the gloves in warm water to remove production residues and achieve optimal grip.
- After each training session or game: Hand wash the gloves in lukewarm water to remove sweat and dirt.
- Drying: Allow the gloves to dry at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and do not place them near heat sources, as this can make the material brittle.
- Storage: Store the gloves in a cool place, protected from dust and away from direct sunlight.
- Washing machine: Avoid cleaning in the washing machine as this can damage the adhesive foam.
